This assessment project will provide data on eelgrass distribution and health to inform strategic fish habitat protection and restoration efforts in San Juan County, Washington and beyond. The assessment includes field surveys and mapping of eelgrass habitat, distribution, and depth data; eelgrass disease and fish presence data; a 20-year change analysis for eelgrass habitat:and in identification of resilient and at-risk eelgrass habitats.
